News

Following its world premiere at Fisura in CDMX, my new (animated!) experimental short Ghost Protists has its U.S. festival premiere at the amazing New Orleans Film Festival, Oct 16-22.

Ashes of Roses continues its festival run with screenings this fall at CUFF, Duluth Superior and Tacoma Film Festivals.

In November 2024, my 2013 film, An Incomplete History of Pornography, 1979, will be included in the Sex/Labor exhibition at the Hartnett Gallery, University of Rochester. I am beyond thrilled to be in this show featuring my long-time shero - filmmaker Lizzie Borden.

Last fall, I filmed the first interview for a feature documentary on poet Mary Oliver - with her old friend, filmmaker John Waters. Pieshake Pictures is now headed into production with support from the NEH.

In April 2024, writer and prankster Kembrew McLeod and I spent a few days filming with Bibbe Hansen and Sean Carrillo for a doc in development – The Hansen Family.
